KatieAnn is a Columbus-based actor/musician. She graduated from the Ohio State University with dual degrees in mechanical engineering and music (vocal performance) with a minor in Spanish.  She has been described as having a "voice [that] resembles a fairytale (almost too good to be true)" (daytonlocal.com).

 

She has performed professionally around the country (Contemporary American Theatre Company, La Comedia Dinner Theatre, Columbus Civic Theatre, Opera Columbus, Bristol Valley Theatre), and is a professional princess impersonator with Amy's Princess Parties. Offstage she works in stage management with Opera Columbus and has music- directed/conducted multiple musical theatre productions around Ohio. She also owns her own dog training and 3D-printing businesses.

 

KatieAnn is most passionate about using performing as a way to serve others, particularly those from marginalized communities such as underserved kids and the disabled. She is a huge advocate for more visibility for the disabled in the arts as she has both POTS and ASD. In her limited free time she enjoys hanging out with her husband DJ-Dan, her dog Grizzly, and devil-spawn cat Kreacher, as well as making chaotic baking videos for YouTube.
